We are currently recruiting for Part-time firefighters, and are looking for men and women who can work in a team and have good communication skills.

You must be able to get to your local station quickly and safely when alerted. You will also need to go to the station one evening a week for regular training and you may have to carry out further training on an occasional basis. The number of emergency calls you attend may vary from several per week to none at all. You will also be involved in community education work within your local area.

Many of our Part-time Firefighters have other employment and respond to calls either from their home or place of work, with the full support of their employers.
