You must be able to get to the station within 5 – 7 minutes of being alerted, and will be expected to undertake training one evening a week, and carry out further training on an occasional basis. The number of emergency calls you attend will vary from several per week to none at all, depending on the fire station. You will also from time-to-time be involved in local community education work.
